Stove Top

What you’ll need:
Moka Pot Fresh med/fine ground coffee 17g (2 heaped dessert spoons)
Scales Mug

Step 1
Fill the base of the Moka pot with hot water to the level of the small valve.

Step 2
Fill the metal basket with your fresh ground coffee up to the brim and gently tap the basket to achieve a level surface and good extraction.

Step 3
Place the basket on top of the pot and carefully screw on the top chamber to avoid wetting the grounds below, do not over tighten.

Step 4
Place the Moka pot onto to the stove on a medium heat and wait for the steam to force the water up through the central spout.

Step 5
When the pot starts to make a gurgling spluttering, noise remove from the heat and pour.
